Nestled at the foot of the Rocky Mountain’s Collegiate Peaks, Buena Vista has beautiful scenery, tree-lines streets, mild climate, and hot springs. It will provide an incredible setting for the 2012 Colorado State HOG rally.
We have selected Mt Princeton Hot Springs Resort as our rally site. The resort has a variety of rooms, from hotel rooms, to cabins that will sleep 8-10 people. Included in your room cost, guests have access to all the hot springs pools, and the river. There is restaurant and a bar onsite.
Mt Princeton is approximately 9 miles from the town of Buena Vista. There are several hotels in town for those that would rather not stay at the resort. There is a Motel 6, and a Best Western, in addition to several locally owned hotels.
We are currently working with one of the white water rafting companies to have a bus run back and forth between the resort and Buena Vista.
We have a full weekend of events planned, including several rides that will highlight the beautiful mountains around us. We are finalizing plans to include a street party on Friday night on the main street in town. Of course, we will also have games, and a bike show.
